It's fine how it is, why nerf something that doesn't need to be nerfed, that compensation wouldn't even do much, unless Grundy can cancel it at any time, instead of after a few frames. Even then, would still make certain match ups way harder than it should.

Don't really agree with this. After a certain period of time in a FG's life, the vast majority of top players will have specialised into 1 character. Many maintain pocket characters but when the going gets tough, they default to their main.

Early in a game's life it is different when changing the matchup can help you more than being dedicated to 1 character.

For example, I stomp many people with HG but struggle to beat them with my main.

Believe me it happens all the time most people go in with there mains but if they end up struggling against a particular character or player they switch. As i also mentioned sometimes a player will feel an opponent has figured them out so they need to mix things up. If you want to see an example of this happen more than usual watch some UMvC3 tournaments.
