DooM BFG Edition question?

I don't know if anybody in the US has the BFG edition of Doom, but I'm just asking something about anyone that may do, it's not out in the UK yet.

does Doom 3 have a co op mode like the original Xbox version? I don't know if it has the mode or not. It's the only reason I'd buy it.
