Does the chance of "Not being the best" hurt your ego to attempt to main a character?

It's something everyone wants to do. Everyone strives to be the best of course, but you shouldn't just main a character for recognition alone. Who cares what other people think of your character? Just keep working on learning that character for the good or bad. I'm not saying completely blow whatever anyone says off, but take it with a grain of salt. Look for real constructive criticism instead of some random guy who dunno the game telling you what's good or bad.

I've been told my Sindel is good and I've been told she's ass. It's all up to me to make out what I want her to be and not anyone else.
