Doctor Fate patch Needs and Wishes

I'm only posting this thread in hopes of NRS seeing and addressing these issues. Fate is honestly in a very good spot in the game but has minor issues that I hope get addressed.

NEEDS:

- Hitbox issues with 11 and F2 fixed. (These moves tend to (randomly) whiff up close against crouching opponents despite being mids).
- A higher and (maybe) a larger hitbox on B2 or a faster d2 for a more reliable anti air.

That's it. What, you were expecting insane buffs? Pppfffttt, that's what the wishes section is for.

WISHES:

-Less recovery on (MB) healing and drain spells.
-Less damage scaling off a MB Ankh of Anubis in trait.
-The third ankh to track better when performing Spell of Judgement.
-Throw range slightly increased .
-Throw still launches despite trait running out when the red ankh connects.
-Glyph of Osiris to have more invincibility on wakeup.
-Sharidum's lock to have less recovery.
-Sharidum's lock damage buffs background bounces since it does that for everything else. Trait would increase that damage buff as well.


Feel free to post what you personally want for Mr. Nelson as well.

I agree @DarksydeDash, fix the whiffing issues, increase vertical hitbox on b2. I was thinking the same thing.

They have to keep Doctor Fate the same for awhile until we really get a grasp of his full potential. I don't want any rushed or unneeded changes that might end up destroying how the character was initially supposed to be played. We've put too much work in to this character so I don't want any drastic changes yet if I don't think he needs them.

Stealth buff is the red ankh still launching during throw after trait runs out. It's just so unsatisfying when it happens and it also extremely limits his set up potential for the throw.

Edit: I also thought of a cool idea for his healing orbs --simply make them bigger. Like the literal circumference could be 1.5x bigger. That would be so cool

That's not bad, it would make walking into them a lot easier. But would you keep the recovery?

I feel like either giving him is air dash or air amon ra blast gear abilities as stock abilities would be huge. It'd help a ton with his doodoo counterzoning.
If not that, then:
-less scaling on traited mb push
-regular push is safer

I like the ideas, but I think they should keep mb push scaling in trait the same. Doctor fate can do huge situational damage. Also you can confirm off of everything into mb push in to any set up you want. Mb push is less about damage and more about confirms and setups.

400 damage isn't huge. It's what most of the cast get for a bar.

100% agreed. :D

Wishes i would put:

- Give Fate an ability to make him use DF2 (healing/DOT field) right where he IS. At this time he can use it on front of him or behind him, but not right on him which sucks.

- Make 1,1,3 forward dash cancel on HIT link into other strings.
Example: 1,1,3 - forward dash cancel - F2,U3 - F2 - DB2

- Damage boost on interactables when DD3 with trait ON is active.

I'd just like for them to change how to do the health bubble, make it back, forward and 2. And make doing aunks (little cross things I don't know the spelling) safe.

I would have happily traded the damage buff for a third option with trait ankhs that sent them further than half screen. This would have actually helped with his bad matchups.

Fate could already abuse f2 over and over against some characters. It literally only needed to be made -8 but we will see where it ends up
