DEVASTATION, Lost Bot Productions and LAN Speed Games are excited to bring you the first season of Marvel vs Capcom 3 Ranbats!

Ranbats, short for Ranking Battles, are the community’s way of ranking the players on a particular game; think bowling league but with something awesome, as in this case with MvC3.

We are holding eight (8) bi-weekly* tournaments at LAN Speed Games starting Sunday, April 17th, 2011.

Schedule:
- April 17th
- May 1st & 15th
- June 12th & 26th
- July 10th & 24th
- August 7th

Check-in/Registration begins at 12:00 PM with the tournament starting at 1:00 PM

Rankings:
- 1st place: 5 Points
- 2nd Place: 3 Points
- 3rd Place: 2 Points
- All others: 1 Point
Points are awarded per tournament and will be totaled at the end of the Season to determine the final ranking.

Tournament admission is $1.00 per Ranbat with the entire amount going to the 1st place winner at the end of the Season.

* There is one small break around Memorial Weekend (end of May) which will move the schedule back an extra two weeks but keeping the total of eight Ranbats.

We had an MK tournament. Where were you?

We'll be holding an MK tournament at each MvC3 ranbat, and we've got MK tournaments coming up at Bookmans in Phoenix and Bookmans in Mesa over the next two weeks. I suppose I can post up about those.
