It comes out for PS3, XB1, I -think- PC.

It comes out on this next as well as the next. And the PS4 gets special treatment.

PS4 is the "preferred" console - it will have exclusives.

It is also releasing for Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PS3.

Bungie have neither confirmed nor denied a PC release.

Bungie have neither confirmed nor denied cross-console play, to my knowledge. They have deferred all questions on this topic, hinting that it's something they are trying to do, but who knows. I doubt you'll be able to do Xbox One <--> PS4, but 360 <--> Xbone and PS3 <--> PS4 is possible.

That's about all I know about the game's production/release info/etc

Also, if you preorder at participating retailers you will get a beta code. When this beta will go live I don't know, but just throwing that out there. Too bad they haven't confirmed a PC release yet, that's the only reason I havent already thrown all of my money at bungie

WOW it looks good but the back story is FLAWED. The size of the Moon is not enough to house minerals and resources to sustain an alien race, let alone allow it to develop into any kind of a threat to a planet that is 10x bigger that the moon. Back Story = FAIL!

I think aince this is Bungie and they probably didn't do all what they wanted to do with Halo, all those ideas are getting dumped in Destiny. Which probably means Super powers are going to be an equippable thing.

Melee in FPS games is fun when done right, and I've played enough FPS titles where I sit back popping shots.

Not every game can be Fallout when it comes to melee in FPS. Granted Fallout is barely an FPS and playing strictly melee is pretty much against the point of an FPS.

And that's what makes it fun and exciting to me. I did a melee/bow only run through of Far Cry and had some of the most fun I'd ever had playing a FPS. It just makes things more interesting for me considering I've been playing FPS titles all my life.

Don't get offended, but the way you worded that made you seem like the knifers in MW2 who thought they were really good.

EDIT: I'm not one to talk though. I was a "1337 360 no scope ladder shot wallbang collateral" dude. But besides MW2 that was a complete joke, I was almost always a sniper in FPSes

Yeah I am going to make a return to shooters because of this game. I did actually play Borderlands 2 though so I guess a 2nd return. Game looks really really good. I hope you can play it mouse and keyboard on ps4...
