This ^ is what makes me believe it has damaged his ego someway all I get from reading the lines between these tweets is 'If i was playing Sinestro i would of won, he barely won with his 1.5 year Lobo against my beginner Aquaman' and then goes on to suggest that had he lost it wouldn't of got posted. When all he had to do was message Decay and ask him to take it down. Or my preferred alternative GG.

This taboo needs to die. Anyone can record matches against me anytime without my permission, and they shouldn't need my permission anyway. If you're playing online- then you're doing something in the public space.

Losing and winning is part of the game, and if anyone's really "Playing 2 Win", then they won't mind other people critiquing them.

The Xbox One and PS4 both have built in game DVR recording functions. If people don't get over this now, their heads are literally going to explode when they move to next-gen.

I mean I got beaten by Jupiter and I put it up online and everyone was thrilled I recorded such a good match. I got beaten by P2W on pig's stream so I didn't have to record it, It was already taken care of. Like I said, I record matches with great players so I can see if I learn something from it later on in the future.

To be fair, the matchup is either completely even or slightly in Lobo's favor so there's no reason to be upset about it. I totally acknowledge the fact that he's a great player and one of the best on my friends list but I just thought this set was super crazy so I should share it ya know?

I'm gonna have to call B.S. on the idea that P2W was just learning the character. He may not know the Lobo matchup, but he had a whole rant on the Kryptonite council podcast damn near a year ago about how he had picked up Aquaman as a secondary to deal with Martian Manhunter because he felt that matchup was unwinnable. It reeks of trying to save face, even though he shouldn't have to.

Now on the subject of recording and posting a video of a set without permission: I asked Slaj Jazz yesterday if I could post a long set we had but to be honest it was really just a formality out of respect. Ok....If he had really asked me nicely and given me a good reason why he didn't want it posted I probably wouldn't have...but in general I think any attitude of not posting quality matches like this isn't just silly....its flat out toxic to our scene. Nobody should be against videos of their matches being made available because its a great resource for yourself and the entire community to analyze and level up.
Moreover, I'm going to go over the top and point out that in P2W's case this is borderlined hypocritical. I remember Theo once explaining that he didn't give Tom Brady games because he didn't want Tom to download him and P2W berated him and said that suggested a lack of confidence in his ability to adapt and that he played hundreds of games with tom because he had the confidence that come tournament he would be comfortable adapting. If P2W is so confident in this ability what is his issue with people recording his matches?

I've played a set with P2W before and uploaded it without his permission and he never seemed to have a problem with it but, to be fair, he may not have known about the upload since he was banned (I think) when I tagged him with the video.


I record and upload about 95% of the sets I play. I'll take the video down if the person asks, which no one ever has*, but people tend to just not care. It's a chance for them to see what they need to improve on or figure out habits to break them or what have you. I don't see why anyone would have a problem with it and I'd like to know P2W's reasoning behind not wanting this uploaded.


*Had a guy threaten to sue me because he was acting like a douche in a King of the Hill and I uploaded it and he got salty lol.

Lol why do people get butthurt when people record them playing a video game? I'm serious with this question btw. It's not like decay is recording p2w's phone convos or screen capping texts/e-mails. It's especially weird that p2w said his aqua sucks, but is still pissed about a ft10 being uploaded where he lost by one match online. Imo it's not a big problem, hell it's not a problem at all in my eyes. It isnt worth a stupid rant on twtitter about it.

I know, right? I was fucking honored when @Decay included some of our Ranked matches in one of the compilations he posted and I lost all three AND butchered the shit out of a Grundy combo lol. People lose sight of the fact that it's a videogame, it's supposed to be fun, and having a close set with the Lobo of the universe is something to be proud of, not ashamed of. It hurts your image soooo much more to act like a brat over him posting them than to lose a close set with someone of that caliber lol.

Or I guess in P2W's case, it cements the image everyone already has.
