Blue Blurs for Life!
All the way over at Ireland, the success of Injustice: Gods Among Us has touched many players, and tournaments have erupted with vibrant life. These include a "vanilla" Injustice tournament known as the Injustice League which occurred in May, and the Day of Champions 9.5 which was completed about three weeks ago. We wish to give the Irish players a major thumbs-up for establishing their scene with an impressive fire, and we look forward to what else will come from their exploits!
With credit to 1man3letters and FireBreather, we bring to you the results of two memorable tournaments...the Injustice League and the Day of Champions 9.5, also called Beervolution, with tournament footage available for both events! Because Day of Champions occurred at a more recent time than the Injustice League, that is what we will start with!
Day of Champions 9.5 - Beervolution
This happened on July 13th at Dublin's Tolka Bar. At this time, we have no confirmation of who shares 7th place in the Top 8 (apologies for this), but we have the results of all who have placed above that. Have a look!
Tournament Champion: FireBreather (Black Adam and General Zod)
2nd Place: Nutrient (Superman)
3rd Place: Jun DP101 (Cyborg)
4th Place: Naphiel (Superman)
5th Place Tie: Lar (Ares) and Crash (Black Adam)
Special mention: A very rare occasion in the form of a double K.O. took place during the Grand Finals of Day of Champions, sparking gasps of shock and amazement from the witnesses. This may or may not be the first time a double K.O. has happened in an Injustice tournament, and this just begs the question...will this become a topic of popular discussion for our Injustice players? You be the judge.

4th Place: Cobelcog (Catwoman)
5th Place Tie: Lar (Ares) and Dreddy (Aquaman)
7th Place Tie: OBS 1man3letters (Solomon Grundy and Killer Frost) and rthymuss (Batman)
