There's a quality of life issue at the moment with Abigail's Garden. Sometimes we're going to want to plink, double tap or mash 4 so the trait comes out on the first available frame when canceling or recovering. But if you mess it up, you accidentally activate Control Abigail's Garden, which stops the ability for the garden to spread and lowers the trait cost.

Since it's totally pointless to use our trait and then immediately stop the spreading, hopefully
NRS adds to the next patch or hotfix a buffer zone of at least 25 frames or so after activating the trait - and only after that amount of time can Control Abigail's Garden be activated.

Not true. In the corner that's exactly what you want to do to prolong the effects of trait. You can set it up right on top of the opponent. There's no reason for wiggle room at that point. The damage gets stupid on block and/or hit.

Trait is a bad joke for ST.
It´s by far the worst trait of the entire cast,nearly useless.
Only in the corner it´s worth to actívate it safely instead of finishing a full combo.

Not that damage and other setups don't seem better but if you have trait active midscreen MB b,f+3 - f+2,3 - d,b+2 2 ends with them stuck in the trait since Bio Bash spreads trait during forward movement.
