I just started a few weeks ago myself.

I sincerely hope that Dark Souls is the franchise and this isn't a return to the original Dark Souls' world. I want a new world with new lore to find out. And I don't want to go back to the Tomb of the Giants. Please god, don't make me go back to the Tomb of the Giants.

Either way, before Dark Souls 2 happens for me, I'm finishing Dark Souls and then playing Demon's Souls. I'm finally starting to feel up to that challenge.

All you need to see is Patches. He's in both games, so that right there is proof positive.

DS and DS have the best cutscenes in any game...ever. IMO. Let alone being fantizzle games. Can't wait to see what they do next.

I just (like an hour ago) had to kill the shit out of him because a giant skeleton kicked me into him.

This all just makes me want to play Demon's Souls even more.
