Cross ups

I recently fought a supergirl that would cross up with j1 into a block string, she was ducking when I went for mb f3, the j1 crossed me up, broke my armor, and still hit. J1 hits once can someone clarify?

More likely than not the armour absorbed the ji1 and then she hit you out of your slow f3 with her fast down buttons.

J1 into 112 can be ducked. Block the jump 1, then the start of 112 is a high and can be ducked, so do a D1.

Yeah, if they're interrupting 112 after a jump-in, just use your mids instead.
