Couple of bugs/ stuff

how come i never knew about this bug reporting section...no idea! i used to tell the bugs to Check, and then he report them directly. though, i guess my words where heard as they were all fixed :) especially thnx to the sektor/NW missle reflect bug, and kenshi game freeze reflect bug.

though some stuff i have to say in here, as well as, i think there are couple of bugs that still exists in the game.

-Reflecting bug:
This, i've been suffering a lot from it! specially kabal. If kabal did IAFB right above opponent head (the maximum range were it can hit opponent), followed by another IAFB. then opponent reflect will be nullified . By means, if kenshi or NW reflected, the animation of reflection will occur and nothing will be reflected back!
same for absorption. though for the Enhanced reflect/ absorbing, it takes the meter and doesnt give health back!

-Invisibility code bug:
I made this video in July 20th,2011. when rain was released (first or second day of rain). at min 2:25, at the end of this tutorial video, i showed a sample of the invisibility bug. this still happens as it occured to me couple of days ago.

apparently, the idea is, the cpu doesnt have a draw system (unlike some other fighting games). so to have this bug, put the all skulls code (zombie mode), either you or your opponent win the first round. at the second round, both of you try to have the same exact amount of health left (lets say 1%). now after doing so, try to time a perfect hit from both of you, where it will hit both of the player and the opponent (Example, Projectiles with same speed, from max distance. Kitana vs kitana, time perfect fan throw).
if done correctly, you might have this effect, which is ; One of you will blow up, Though the CPU will decide the win to the player who had been blown up! thus returning him/her back for another round. though, this time , the character will be invisible.


-Same thing Could be said about, Kitana VS Kitana X ray. If both are timed correctly, and excuted at a mirror distance as well at the same time. a weird stunning effect will happen, and then the cpu will choose who will get hit by the xray randomly?
if done with the same technique like the previous mentioned example, the game might actually freeze for a moment, longer than atleast 5 seconds, and then chooses one of the kitana's as a winner.


-Freddy Krugur Bug:
Ofcourse the bugs still exists which is....not cool :(. one in particular , which is heavy use for me, the sweet dreams bug?
if krugur did a sweet dreams, followed by anything Very fast! opponent will be able to block it!
krugur will have to wait atleast 1 second before hitting opponent, or else the attack will be blockable


-NW between rounds bug:
when NW loses between rounds, he disapear by making a huge Light zoning pillar. there are lots of ways to make these pillars multiple for a short period of time, as well as it sometimes causes NW to go invisible depending on timing...i shall further explain now.

Full screen example: lets say it's Reptile VS nw. NW has 1% life left in his bar. let reptile get to max range of the screen (both characters are in this case), and then with reptile, do an EX slow FB. once you do it, Elbow dash fast and then hit NW with anything (not elbow dash though..dont change sides, or else it wont be a full screen example).
ofcourse when you hit NW, he will fall to the ground and that the round will end. while he's doing the animation of resurrection from this light pillar, the EX SFB will be passing by untill it hits him out of the animation. this will cause NW to re animate himself with the light pillar effect on the ground, leaving behind another copy of the light on the ground.
by the time fight shows up, and that both players started the round, the light on the ground is still there! in fact it will stay that for like 5 seconds or so.

MID Screen example: same exact way, though if done in midscreen, between the animation were NW is completely of the screen (before the lights are summoned).If NW got hit at such time, the FB will cause NW to go Completely invisible for the whole match.

-Some visuals and sound bugs still exists.
with kratos in practice mode: if you did any of his charging move, and held the button and then pressed select in between. once the game turns back, all of the sound effects will be completely off! as if it's the sound kratos and opponent makes when they are getting hit or hittin at the time of the charging moves.

Scorpion Against Kenshi: from mid screen, if scorpion did a spear and kenshi did EX SC move...scorpion will get hit by the EX SC, though the spear will be attached to scorpions body while he's on the ground, and that the tip of the spear is stuck mid screen (as if it's still holding on something)



hope that any of these bug reporting were useful in anyway possible.

I don't remember any MK having a draw if you hit at the same time; its always been decided by the CPU. I don't know about MK9, but the early 2D MKs I think each round one person would be given frame advantage (your JK would always beat theirs in a tie) but the other had cancel advantage, which I think meant that you could cancel out of block and attack a frame sooner than your opponent. I could be high though. I've only had a true draw once, playing MK1 vs. ST in round three we both hit with projectiles and lost the last of our health, forcing a round 4.

The invisible glitch seems like an extereme edge case. If I were a dev at NRS I would say fixing that wouldn't be worth the effort, it simply happens too infrequently.

The reflect bugs seem like bigger issues though, maybe they could address that if they try to patch the input bug.
