I can't stop thinking about what do you guys have in mind for MKX when it becomes available, i mean tournament wise and development wise. So while the game is not out yet, i think its a good time to start thinking on some really cool ideas that may help the blood pumping and flowing and then put that in practice when the game comes out, like things that will make tournaments interesting, increase the tournament entrants, rise more educated players etc.
Do you/we really should just wait TOS to announce their tournaments and all you/we have to do is go there and play? Why don't we create something TYM internal that keeps things interesting, something that will make everyone that plays even if they're not part of TYM an immediate contender?
Any ideas?
I for myself, since i plan in expanding the Angolan tournament Scene, i will need all the help i can get while the game its fresh, so educating other players with gameplay mechanics and such is something i intend to do. I also will talk with the VSA's TOs so the fighting game community and the FPS can be included back in the spot light of pro tour here (they only have football), with what i have in mind, i believe i can keep everyone interested in playing whatever is inside the pro tour.
I will give my contribution to TYM as well, i will continue my 101 character specialist series with MKX (hopefully Skarlet is in), even if the game came with the most dynamic training system a game can offer, i'm pretty sure that not everyone will be able to keep track of it or explore it at the fullest without proper guide, USF4 has a decent one and yet i see people with problems that could be solved if they knew how to work for it.
Anyway, there isn't much about the game itself to talk about now, but what about us? what about TYM? Isn't this the time to start preparing ourselves to the eSports and stuff? Besides there is a few tournaments that are directly connected to TYM and Kombat Network:
EGP, NEC, Final Round
Will it hurt if we decide to create a TYM circuit or something close to it that will keep players in check and hunger to get into tournaments? I hope i'm not using a complicated language.
Opinions?
