What a story! At weekly #44 Colton found our local's stream (twitch.tv/ryuujin882
) and was surprised to find our scene was a mere 1.5/2 hours away. In stream chat he committed to coming out this week and even commented on the sets he was watching "I know all these matchups". And what a show he put on! After losing his first set, he handily defeated his next six opponents; including ATP & a runback with BLTMr.Nauj.
Grand Finals Colton (L) v Henzzar (W)
When Colton first arrived at the venue he asked who the better players were. He was shocked to discover that Henzzar was among our ilk as he and Henzzar had run many games in ranked matches. Nervous but undeterred, Colton faced Henzzar in GF. For Colton's first offline tournament he did well in adjusting to the lag-free environment. He did so well in fact that not only did he reset the bracket against Henzzar but he nearly swept him with a final results of 6-1. Colton actually won his first offline event; an accomplishment not many people can say. We look forward to welcoming him back to all of our weeklies to come.
