Really good i agree. For the OP:
The community did exactly what you asked. They adapted.
That is why the Evo top 8 was the way it was.
Forum is flooded with constructive criticism. And yes, complain about the things you don't like is the way to go. I played DOTA for years (million times more popular than the entire FGC combined), and you literally have hundreds of posts every single day complaining about bugs, mechanics, buffs, nerf, everything. And you know why? Because players love the game, they want it to be better and better, and devs actually listen and implement suggestions from the community. That's how you keep you customers satisfied, because if your customers are not happy, they will drop the game. And if they drop it, then you don't have anyone to sell you stupid skins or characters.Just some thoughts:
I feel that it's time for this community(excuse the generalization) to outgrown the constant patch begging and start focusing on improving on the game. I understand this behavior based on past games, but i think MK11 is the by far most legit NRS game in terms of balance and mechanics out of the gate. Before you ask, im a dedicated Kotal Kahn player(Till my Fujin arrives). When i started playing, i was losing a lot and the first thing i did with every defeat was to blame the character(or complain about the other character) till i decided focus on my mistakes and my character strenghts. I've been improving a lot ever since, even my matches feel much more satisfying to play.
I want the game to be the best it can be, and it definitely can be better, but if all you can do is complain and wait for a patch to happen, the week after it happens you will find something new to complain about.
I have my share of things that i would like to be adressed currently, but i think that new ideas, constructive criticism, and asking for insights is what will make the game thrive, instead of screaming about how everything sucks.
Wow. Thats alot of insults you are throwing at people on a game forum. Scorpion your favourite character?Except that Scorpion isn't top tier you trashbags. You're just shit and hope that someone fixes you being shit, so that you don't have to and that there's one more character that's not viable in the meta so that your shitty character becomes the next Liu Kang/Scorpion you play 40% of your matches against, so that they get nerfed to shit in the next patch.
It's an endless cycle of idiocy. Instead of having sensible discussions on what is fun and what is not fun in the game, people try to shill their half-baked balance changes where Geras' close sandtrap should be a mid or Scorpion's teleport should be a high that they cooked up in their weed ridden stoner brains.
And i play league of legends(If you wanna talk popularity), completely different dynamics from a fighting game.Forum is flooded with constructive criticism. No, but i'm guessing you didn't read the post.Let me guess; you're a Scorpion player.
Scorpion isn't high tier? Tell me, is it normal if a character kills the neutral and unables you to JUMP in the game?Except that Scorpion isn't top tier you trashbags. lol at this for real. We've been going round in circles with constructive criticism for 3 months.
People act like pleasing the non pro scene is unnecessary and pandering but those people are the life blood of the whole game.
What should a game be. Fun
What is online mk11. Getting my dick punched by geras or erron drop kicking me from half way across screen on repeat.
This is what the vast majority of posts suggesting tweaks are though.I have my share of things that i would like to be adressed currently, but i think that new ideas, constructive criticism, and asking for insights is what will make the game thrive, instead of screaming about how everything sucks.
That's absolutely not the case, this kind of talk go in the opposite direction of what you see in this forum specially after a major tournament. This is what the vast majority of posts suggesting tweaks are though.
Everything you wrote before this was just flexing for some e-points. Easiest thing to do on these boards when you want a pat on the back is to say "I think it's too early to patch" no matter how long it's been or how obviously egregious some outliers are.
Facts. So much facts here.I really don't even know what to say to you people anymore.
The game is broken. Hitboxes are awful inconsistent nonsense that makes some characters a chore to play. The game shouldn't have shipped this way, and balance isn't even the foremost issue. Above and beyond that, yes balance is whack and lots of things need to be looked at.
Some people will eat shit like caviar and give you a brown smile for complaining about the smell. shakes head
how can you be so.delusional?Just some thoughts:
