I'm pretty sure stuff like this has been seen before. It's just a glitch and, as far as I know, there is no way to purposefully do it.

Though BS, I actually want to know the cause of this glitch(Was it character exclusive? Is a certain move required?). Though it clearly is shown that the "Glitcher" had a motive for this, theres no evidence on how he caused so this may be fixed in a future patch.

Yea these things happen sometimes. I was frozen in the air once with noob saibot because of smokes shake whiffing but I remained frozen.

I've noticed glitches happen often with Johnny Cage. I remember playing games with pmarc, sometimes when I tried to go for an enhanced shadow kick I would end up getting hit but still lose the meter. Then, when having a Johnny Cage mirror match with Nori, I actually uppercutted him when he activated his xray parry. Unless these two moves have vulnerable startup frames, it seems that online can cause problems to happen outside of lag.
