This is a list of things I wish we get for KI season 2.

- Reversal notice. right now when waking up or doing a special move after after coming out of a block string it doesn't tell you if it was a reversal or not and pretty much every fighting game has that by now.

- Unifying hit stun/block stun. In sf and other fighting games you can feel how much hit stun/block stun there is in a jab, strong, or fierce attack in KI its really hard to tell.

- Guarantee combo mode. Like there should be a separate bar we can call it "killer instinct mode" when you enter this mode the next combo you do is completely unbreakable. In this mode you cant use instinct or shadow move and if you activate this mode you cant use instinct for the rest of the match. Think about it the whole cast relies on their instinct for a lot of things so using this mode its risky but good if you need it to make a come back or want guarantee damage. This is for the people that complained that nothing in KI is guarantee.

- Different shadow bars. make everyone shadow bars look different like Sadira's is lines of web, orchid's is bright yellow, Sabre's is black with a moon on the right ya get the point lol.

- 2 second lock out on whiffed punished/blocked special moves. For example if jago whiffs a dp or you block it, you should be able to get a 2 second lock out when you punished them and the announcer can say something like PUNISHED or STOP MASHING... basically 2 second lock out on punishable special moves.


- Less priority on grabs and less recovery on whiff. Right now a lot of normals that are already out get beaten out by grabs and the whiff recovery on grabs is TOO much. Everyone falls for the good walk up neutral jump then punish grab or empty jump on wake up then neutral jump and punish grab.


- Different color shadows for shadow moves. This is self explanatory besides orchid all shadow moves look the same.


- Slower falls. Make characters fall a little slower when you air to air them or knock them out of the air with a move so you can juggle them better.


- Ultimate and Humiliations moves. We all want them back iron galaxy so please make it happen.


- More colors and outfits. That or let us customized our colors like in SFxT.


- No corner cross ups please leave it the way it is.


- let us choose classic themes on versus and training mode stage.


- KI2.


- 8 second notice before a match starts in lobbies right now is only 5


- 3 bars of shadow meter but its harder to get meter and you can only use 2 shadow moves in a combo.

Well, that is it for now I'll comment on this thread if I think of more things I would like to see but so far what do you guys think?

great ideas, especially the lockout on whiffed/punished/blocked special moves. good stuff.
what also would be good to have is a dojo mode for all characters. and once there are like 16 characters, there should be a different character select screen, im not really a fan of this scrolling thing and it doesnt really look nice either way.
also lobbies should be like a list like in MK or igau

- The biggest one for me is an AI wake up/reversal function in training mode. This is one thing Injustice nailed.

- I'd like combo breakers to no longer give a hard knockdown. The person breaking is rewarded already with health and reset spacing. To additionally give them an HKD is too much imo.

- Training stage available in Versus.

In all seriousness, there needs to be a physical copy called like "Killer Edition" or something clever that goes along with the name. I wouldn't mind paying $59.99 for a physical copy that comes with all of Season 1 and a Season Pass that let's you automatically get whatever comes next. At this point I feel a physical copy is a must. Hate digital downloads.
 
Quick Rise should be automatic, button presses should only be required when I actually want my character to stay on the ground for the normal amount of time. 90% of the time, if Im not in a HKD I want to get up quickly. Why is this not the default?

Get rid of all instances where a character can whiff a counter-breaker but still continue the combo after.

Give me an option to not see opponent wearing their custom outfits on my screen. I'd rather appreciate the new art design then constantly see campy Jago outfits.

No more old characters. KI doesn't really have alot of characters because there has only been 2 previous games. As much as I like Riptor, I want to see some more new ideas.

I agree, I'm not a big fan of the current character select screen but KI 1 & 2 had the same scrolling character select screen as we have now. Maybe they trying to keep it like the older game's.

Throws are perfect the way they are; I like a big risk for whiffing throws. Compared to SF4 they already have less priority because they're 1 frame slower. The real problem is Sabre's whiffed throw recovers, like, 8 frames faster than everyone else's.

Please no guaranteed combo mode or forced lockouts on unsafe moves. You've been poisoned by the sadira unbreakable damage. Everything should be breakable. Give every character a few easy manuals instead. I haven't seen any complaints about "nothing guaranteed" since PL was being a baby after playing for like, 3 weeks.

I don't care about cosmetic stuff.

I don't understand what "unifying hit / block stun" means. I totally feel the blockstun on something like Jago F+HK

Honestly the game is amazing, there's almost nothing I would change about it. coughNERFTHEDOGcough

- Labels for Linker strength in Practice Mode
- Combo state in replay mode
- Change logs
- Less tolerance for Lag (disconnect if shit starts teleporting)
- Dojo with another character
- Teabagging costs HP ;)

The game needs normals thata re like Fatal Counter in anime games, really bad in neutral due to slow startup, horrible whiff recovery, or massively unsafe on block but if they connect on a punish they force lockout. Would help to curtail how free fucking up can feel at times and make people play a bit more honest.

The biggest one for me is an AI wake up/reversal function in training mode.
By far my most desired fix. It's a hassle as well as inefficient to record and tweak a character's combo with follow up in practice mode to practice stuffing wake-ups.

Other desires:

-Upgrade paths to be issued so people with lower tiered editions can reasonably own a higher tiered one. Paying full price is ridiculous.
-Patch notes.
-Less whiff recovery and priority on grabs.
-Make Manual execution difficulty the same across all characters.
-Reversal notification.
-Description of character's instinct.
-Functioning lobbies.
-Orchid Unbreakable ;_;
 
sadira has no unbreakable damage so please do research before saying stuff like that.
The entire combo itself isn't unbreakable- but she can pretty much load up on a ridiculous amount of potential damage, and cash that in if you fail to break a manual into an ender.


Not sure if this was patched out in the Fulgore update or not.

you can get over 40% from just jump cancel spins until the shit blows out. Even if you go straight into an ender from sadira instinct combos and they break it on the first hit it will STILL do over 50% [EDIT 60%, thanks above video] wtf are you talking about no unbreakable damage.

Just because you CAN break it doesn't mean it doesn't do a fuck load of damage already. At 60% health on the second health bar Sadira + Instinct becomes touch of death because of an Ultra finish.

Also, "dumb" manuals is a stupid way to put it. If you actually read what I wrote instead of blowing up with salt immediately I said every character should have easy manuals.

No I don't think otherwise, I think Jago is the second best in the game after wulf. chill dawg, not everyone is out to hate on sadira, I think she's fine

you wouldn't trade instinct mode jump cancel spins for easy manuals?
