Hey guys new to forum and love all the work you've guys been doing in the lab finding combos post patch. Thanks for all your hard work. I need some help with performing the first 3 of Cassie Brawler's corner combos listed in the OP. Before the patch I can easily do these combos but post patch I'm having issues connecting the ji1. It seems the patch killed the ability to perform attacks in the earlier frames of a jump and this made the combos easier for me. Any tips in performing these now.
 
What's her best combo after njp when she's trapped in a corner?
I've been practicing

nj2, run under~212, b12~db2, ji3, 123 ~ Nut punch (32%)

but i feel like she can do better.

I don't think these combos are actually possible now, I'll have to test further. Try substituting RUN~123 instead of ji1~24. Damage shouldn't be that different.

f3~db1~db2, run 121, 212, 123~db2, run, 123 missile setup = 40%
d+f+1~db1~db2, run 121, 212, 123~db2, run, 123 missile setup = 38%

Just wanted to give you guys a different route off of her overhead and low that still allows you to maximize damage. F3, db2. (Run) 121, 21u4, 21u4, 212, db2, b1, bd3 (42% )Df1, db2, (run) 121, 21u4, 21u4, 212,db2, b1, bd3( 40%)

Dont know if this will help but I thought this route was also a little easier.

Is there a new bnb for the combo where you're in the corner, you ex-flipkick and run under them to put them in the corner?
 
(11 frame advancing mid) b12~db2, RUN~212, b12(4)/(~bf4) (25%/26%) [missile setup if end in b124]
Is this still the standard mid screen BnB for Spec Ops? Just started messing around in Spec Ops, and wondering why you guys don't use b12~db2, RUN~212, b12~db2. The db2 ender sets up a missile and hits more consistently than 124. Plus, it gives more meter.

The easiest ones I've found are
212~ex db2 run 212, f23~bd3 (31%) (easier to do from farther away)
212~ex db2 run 212 run 21u4, 212, b12~bd3 (38%) (High stamina)
Ex db2 run 121, 21u4, 123~db2, run 123~bd3 (42%)

or if you're in brawler
212~ex db2 run 212, f23~bf3 (33%)
212~ex db2 run 212 run 123, b12~bf3 (37%)
Ex db2 run 121, 212, 212~db2 run 24~bd3 (42%)

These might not all be optimal but they're just the most consistent for me.
 
This is for my brawler bros. been playing around with Cassie post patch and trying to figure out new corner combos this is what I came up with:

f3~db2, f2, 121, 123~db2, b2~bf3 (41%)

Don't know if it can be further optimized, still trying things oout.

f3~db2 run 121, 212, 212~db2, run 24~bf3 (42%) I posted it a long time back so it got buried.
And if you want to do yours just end with 24~bf3 for the same damage.

also other fun stuff.
They're all the same combo basically
-b12~db2 run 121, 212, 212~db2 run 24~bf3 (41%)
-d+f1~db2 run 121, 212, 212~db2 run 24~bf3 (40%)
-f3~db2 run 121, 212, 212~db2, run 24~bf3 (42%)
-f44, 4, 121, 212, 123~db2, ji.1, 24~bd3 (41%)

Not mine but
-242, 4, 121, 212~db2, j1 f24~db2, run 24~bf3 (46%)

Fun
-F44, 4~bd4, 212, 212, 123~db2, ji.1, 24~bf3 (38%)
-242, 4~bd4, 212, 212, 123~db2, ji.1, 24~bf3 (42%)

All these combos you can pretty much end run ex throw or f21+3 if you want to go for the mixup.
 
Yo. Been playing some Cass lately, looking to make her a second.
I'm actually curious as to what exactly the patch did to her.
Was it mainly just corner combos/setups? If so, which ones were nerfed the hardest?
 
mostly hollywood cassie was affected

how the patch affected her:
  • Her pressure stops after her opponent blocks f34
  • instant air guns can no longer be done immediately off the ground
  • She lost all of her bnb's involving f34 and I would say her max dmg bnb's are more difficult now.
  • f34 has more frame advantage when used in an air juggle. The opponent can still tech roll but I've found some character specific uses for the increased frame advantage. Mostly involving characters that have low hitting armored reversals.

Wow I didn't even notice the nerf to Air guns... I thought it was just me messing up the input. (I wonder if they did the same for Mileena's Air sais too then, cause I can't get that either and the input is exactly the same.)

So her overhead string F34 got nerfed the hardest then. So is F33 the way to go for overhead strings now? or do we just gotta commit to the F3xxDB2?

So I noticed this when i was experimenting of it and I came to an understanding that only certain charcters can punish it which were :

Kano - knife and roll
Dvorah - run in f1
Kotal - x-Ray
Jacqui - gun shots

But these are projectiles only so not full combo except Dvorah
