Question - Kobu Jutsu Can't do Tanya's Teleoport to nip?? Please help

I've just recently started picking up Tanya and I try to teleport to njp and all I get is a jip can someone please help me out with this??? When in the air I just do D2 and it's not working. Was it nerfed??

Hold down as you hit your punch button.

Edit. It's in the timing. I was having the same problem and realized I wasn't timing it right.

Just make sure you are holding down when you get out of teleport. Thats the trick.
