D'Vorah d2Quick question about his insane d2 (or anti-air special):
It lowers his hitbox and originates from on top of him. Have we seen a move like that in any other game? If that's a disjointed hitbox, it could be incredibly easy to anti-air with him, especially since it originates between him and his opponent (as opposed to most uppercuts, which tend to originate from below or in front of the character and have hurtboxes).
Also, look at that angle:
As you can see, it hits well below the standing hitbox of Brainiac. He's tall, but it looks like that should hit pretty much any standing character up to the distance where it's hitting Grodd in that screenshot. If that's not a gear move, and is in fact just his standard d2, I could see it being one of the best moves in his kit. Disjointed hitbox, meterless launcher, insane anti-air, also hits standing opponents from outside sweep range.
Ha, how did I not think of that! Spot on! So we've got D'Vorah d2, Takeda-ish normals and specials, Sentinel drones, Lex lasers, a parry, a divekick, a mobility move, and that insane f3. Unless his frame data is total garbage, this character is going to be an absolute beast (even considering some of those might be gear moves). He's also got swag out the ass, being possibly one of the most intimidating fighting game villains I've ever seen. Don't even get me started on that super. My desk might have raised a few inches when I first saw it...
You can meter burn traits. They showed Catwoman doing it on her stream breakdown.
Oh wow Then yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if the laser from his ship was his trait.
I think the drones are his trait. Somethibg like F4 might be the fast mid one, B4 might be the slower mid one. U4 the air one and press 4 again while it's in the screen to release the tracking projectile maybe
