Another thing is how much the delay varies. I can do a set with someone and about 4 - 5 matches in maybe adapt somewhat to the input delay, but as soon as I switch opponent it's back to dropping juggles again for a few matches.

I find that most times combos don't come out is due to lag (netcode) as most mentioned.

Trying to connect Kotal's F2 in a combo with bad connection or even mediocre connection is almost impossible.

What I find what works best online is to try to get a feel for the "lag" or input delay on certain strings and specials and adjust.

Its easier said then done, of course, but I find once you get used to it, you can almost play in the worst of connections.

I get asked a lot in KOTHs and even 1v1s, "How are you SO good?" and I simply reply, just a matter of practice and timing.

I don't understand why people find things like Erron's Gun cancels, Scorpion's Fireball cancels etc... harder online. It's not a 'timing' thing, it's just one long motion so lag shouldn't really be affecting it.

That's not true, everything is affected by lag. Try landing B32,GC, 211 in lag you'll miss it everytime. Even doing it raw, you'll get gunshot half the time because the game didn't register the run cancel.

That's because you're inputting the FF too quickly. Just delay the FF input slightly and it'll work online & offline. Even then, over time you should be able to get a feel of how much delay there is and adjust accordingly.

I've never even used B32 GC because B33 GC does more damage, but I do use 11B3 GC regularly online and it's pretty consistent so it should be fine.
