Hmm I've never seen this until now. That's weird

^Same. I was about to turn on my PS4 now, I'll see if I can replicate this...

EDIT: Tried it on the same stage with Superman, couldn't find a way to replicate it myself. Went into versus, made sure it was a Canary Drop counter to the ground laser. Tried it switching the P1 and P2 characters around. Only thing I couldn't do was mimic the backdash prior to the ground laser, little hard to do with just myself.

So it was probably a one -time-bug, it can happen sometimes.
