Video/Tutorial Black Adam Cross Over Dive kick Set Ups

This guy looks kind of tuff...
So I've been messing with my Black Adam lately (love this character)... and I have seen as well as heard in the forums about Dive-kick crossing up from the front sometimes, but haven't seen any set ups to get it every time in order to mix up opponents. So I hit the lab and came up with a few.

Dive-kick Comes from the Front of the opponent but somehow ends up hitting in the back. (similar to some f3 as well as b3 set ups people have come up with in corners)
This opens up his mix up game mid screen adding to his usual frame traps into d1 hands.

I have not tested vs all the characters, but it works on Batman, and Superman for sure.. there might be a few chars, who it don't work on , but i need to hit the lab some more.

On certain set ups opponent can just duck and make the Dive-kick whiff (which keeps you safe since its a far stomp), this is when you can hit them with a close Foot stomp and blow them up (their overheads remember).

If they block the right way.... then most of the time adam just whiffs it and goes to the other side.. (which is good because if you hit the dive-kick too high they can punish).

this will be bullshit i predict BA will have unblockables by the end of the year, maybe something with j2 or j3 or j1 into divekick MB that requires you to block both within 1 frame or 2 like AE unblockables. hopefully it will never come to that but, and no he does NOT need it.

...Am i a bad person if i already know how to force all of those. Just ask AK Pig Of The Hut or AK Reno_Racks

Ive got some absolutely filthy shit that i refuse to post yet for this character.

He needs it just as much as The Flash needs his Sonic pound cross ups, his Corner B3/f3 cross ups that mix up if blocked right.. :)

a lot of chars have these with b3 or f3..

Black Adam has to waste meter for this... :)

Well i rather put it out there to help grow the game as quick as possible, the faster ppl learn counters to it, the faster we learn counter to the counters.. lol
Not to mention ppl will still have to make the right read, and knowing its out there will not mean they will block it everytime.
Fear of it coming will make some mind games as well :p

Well this isnt even the tech i was talking about. This stuff has actually been known just not really put into practice as much as Cat has with his video. Trust me this wont help the game grow. There is absolutely no way someone will block a crossover divekick and if they try then they are leaving themself open for something much worse by unblocking next to Black Adam.

I personally wont even go for these set ups cause most of them arent really practical cause you play against a human and not a training dummy and most of them are super inconsistent which will make you waste meter a lot.

An important thing to note is that human opponents will be holding backwards which will make them walk backwards a bit and throw off the desired spacing.

This and different characters have different back walk speeds. In the corner I see this working a lot more though.

Exactly. This causes you to have to jump forward instant divekick instead of neutral depending on the string setup and if you miss if by a little or they duck (the shoudlnt but they might) you will fly right over there head, go full screen (could be useful vs some characters), and lose a meter.

True. Although the dive kick can be altered a lil to make it cross up. Ones of hard knockdowns are the best as opponents need to guess right or do a wake up (if they have one that wont get beat out by dk)

except the fact that BA you know doesn't really have losing MU's or that i can't set up unblockables now or in the near future. or force half the cast to come to me while i backdash and make them read MB divekick or Lightning from midscreen. i also have to waste meter for my cross ups with MB SP. and am sure BA can get a cross up f3 with a double f3 in the corner some how most characters can.

Basically the same shit I posted in my guide almost 3 months ago. You shouldn't do close divekck for the mixup, do b2. This setup is guaranteed in the corner and must be blocked after b2 trait in the corner. And people wonder why I fucking facepalm when I see flowchart Adam after flowchart Adam not abusing his dirt in tournaments and even people like Rico. This stuff is not common knowledge and someone has to waste lab and video time because some BA users that go to tournaments don't check tech threads and discussions here.

you should of made a video explaining it then.. and why would i do close divekick? these are all far stomps..
