What is bf2 on block? I've only began to use it because I've seen videos of people cancelling into it at the end of block strings.

I think most of the strings canceled into it can just be ducked though and then punished. I find it good to use in f223. Cause if you think they will block the OH if forces them to block it. More mind games basically. Its pretty fucking great.

I know what you mean. However, I've also noticed that if you hit them with f223 (just the OH) and cancel into bf2, the bf2 whiifs.

I think it's character specific. Batman and atrocitus have to block it, but on super girl and super man it whiffs over their head. Idk about blue beetle since nobody plays him. Oh and I'm sure it probably whiffs on black canary too

I pretty much play just Atroc and Sups but have some questions.

What's the string at the end where atroc fires a low blast? Can't figure it out people keeps trying to kill me

Is ending is b23~buff any good in the corner

If you mean Life drain. Its unsafe and full combo punishable. :D

F223 vomit jails on everyone. Vs Batman though you can abuse vomit so much because of his hitbox making everything into vomit jail even if he crouches. Off certain strings like 22 into vomit you're left in the perfect range where your d1 can hit them after but none of his fast normals can reach to interrupt you. So even though you are -5 you can still continue your pressure. Vomit is extremely good for that matchup.

When in doubt, armor out.
After playing nothing but Atrocitus for a few days now, I think there's a couple things that needs to be fixed/tweaked.

Rage Charge: Add a magnetism/vacuum effect on hit, to where if the opponent is hit by Rage Charge while in front of Atrocitus, they're dragged/pulled more into center as to not fall out.

I've had this happen several times now. I'll use Rage Charge on someone that's airborne, only have them fall out of it and/or end up behind me. I can understand this happening if they were say behind/directly on top of me and I somehow hit them. But most of the time, if the opponent is airborne (e.g. during jump ins and mid combo) there's a chance that they'll just fall out of it with them either behind me, or me whiffing the rest the special and them recovering. This should not be a thing.

Dexstar: Faster startup upon summoning, and faster recovery after summoning.

From my experience, unless I have my trait out, the kryptonians (mainly Supergirl) have a very easy time zoning me out. My issue though isn't that they can zone me out without my trait active. But rather trying to find the opportunity to call out my trait safely with the constant barrage of lazers. The amount of time it take for Dexstar to come in and become active is ridiculous and too easily punishable at full screen.

Side note: Universally I'd also like it if they made air teching more consistent/actually doable, and fixed whatever the problem is with the game registering special inputs by accident. Several times I'll go from a croutched position to doing a string with that requires me to press forward, only to have a special come out. It's insanely annoying.
Would that have anything to do with release check? I'm not entirely sure what it is, but I know it helped my combos by disabling that on my presets

i actually think he's the worst among all four characters
I personally believe that he's too reliant on his trait to make a lot of his mix-ups safe. I think his trait is on a 15 second cooldown which seems about right to me. As long as you stick to him and keep pressure on and from being able to utilize his trait while it's active, I think he's pretty much dead in the water. I watched ForeverKing and Michaelangelo's fights and that seemed to be FKs general gameplay adjustment after match 1 and it seemed to work wonders.

I already had release check turned off. But I don't think that would have affected anything.

Release check just makes it easier to input specials. It works by basically making the directional input window larger. This could be useful for some. But most of the time it just causes input errors. So most people recommend turning it off and practicing execution/inputting special commands.
