Hell fucking YES!! it is the best fighting game sound track ever made. Sabrewulfs theme is my fav stage music.. i have the sound track and listein to it from time to time!

For Dancock - personally I think Jago's and especially Tusk's are a bit better, but it's probably because I've heard Sabrewulf's so often. It's pretty good though:

that SWulf theme is good however the KI theme is much better :)

KI was good but if anything, I loved DKC soundtrack far more concerning RARE games.

But my favorite has to be MK 2's soundtrack, some UMK3 stages and MK Mythologies I loved the music.

Deception had nice music too.

I personally think smash bros brawl (lol party fighters) did but its almost cheating picking it, there are TONS of favorite soundtracks on there, its like picking a greatest hits version of a album. Mortal Kombat Trilogy also had a solid set of tracks. Hell if I had to make a list:

1)SSBB
2)Guilty Gear/blazblue series
3) King of Fighters XI
3)Killer instinct
4)Tekken series (mostly 3, tag and 5)
5)Mortal Kombat Trilogy

Theres definitely more that I forgot but thats my list so far.

I also love Psi Ops soundtrack, Perfect Dark, Mario Soundtrack, NHL Hitz and TMNT arcade games soundtrack IMO is awesome!

SSFII HD's also is good, remix is good but I personally like the classic soundtrack better.

Sorry MKF, but after seeing your comments on Youtube about the Mileena track, several of us agreed that anyone could have made it in half an hour or less using Fruity Loops or something similar. I am not attacking you but I can't take your taste in music seriously. The Donkey Kong Country soundtrack WAS good though, I agree.

IMO, the SF series(particularly the SF2 and SFA series...along with the remakes for SF4), as well as KI are the best out there with DKC as a high contender. To me though, when you walked into an arcade, the most distinct was KI or KI2... it was always so damn loud and catchy.

And what comment is that, that I liked it?? You must mean you and the MKU people? Because I assure you on here everyone loved it lol. I don't know where you've been but Mileena's soundtrack was highly liked and people asking to DL it but whatever right including an update on TYM where to get it and how much. 99 cents, well worth it :) I have to say don't really care if it was fruity loops(which I doubt it was anyway) WB wouldn't hire a musician with fl lol...

Well, that's nice but if we're discussing "tastes" in music I can be here all day why I hate the music you like so no need ;) besides that something everyone likes due to 100% preference, with music there really is no better or worse. It's all preference. Make a music thread, you'll see everyone on here posting different tastes in music....

I will say though, KI's music probably outweighs the game itself lol. Good job Rare. I'm sure you've heard they recently made a dance game to KI music, but won't make KI3...awesome!

KI sountrack was beast but the best part of the game was yelling out C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER

Second that bloody roar track.... good stuff! It sounds like it came straight out of MVC2, which had a great soundtrack as well. Jazz and fighting games mix well imo
