I do have to say I was very pleased to see skarlet back too. I do miss the red hair and wish they kept some of the ninja look though. Oh well, it’ll probably be a cosmetic option.

Which one did I like the most and think I’d enjoy playing the most? Baraka

Which one did I think visually looked the most impressive and interesting? Raiden. Every thing I saw Raiden do for the first time had me in awe, it was so visually intense. It all looked so satisfying too, his throws, his EX fly that turns into a suplex, all of his crazy looking strings, etc.

...but at the same time Skarlet had the same effect on me

I think we can all agree that Barakas face rip fatality is gonna go down as one of the all time greatest fatalities. I can handle gore but that shit had me wincing.

As long as we can beat each other up like old times in MK11, it's all good. I've gotta say though: I've never seen you zone once in my life, it's going to be interesting to see you adapt to the new Raiden.

Baraka is amazing. I always wanted him to come back but didn't expect it to happen.

Waiting for Cage and Kenshi, but I liked Baraka so much from what I was able to test that will probably end up using him also.

Geras looks a bit too... generic to me. I don't know, he felt a little too uninspired. He looks more like a Tekken character than a MK character.

Agree, Geras felt generic af. Meh overall.

Scorpion. Having his swords on his hip and using the spear as an actual rope dart like the IRL weapon is sick and really gives off an unique feel for this version of him.
Big shout outs to Raiden as well who really feels like a "God" character this time around, what with how he calls down the thunder bolts from the heavens and just how much he actually uses his lightning in the game.

Geras has the most intriguing move set but the design itself doesn't quite do it for me. His clothes feel a little to opulent for how down n dirty he fights.

Skarlet is the most exciting visually and everything about her design is wonderful. Her voice has that unhinged cult like quality and the vaguely European accent underscores her mystique.

Raiden just looks like a literal thunder for now. They turned him all the way up to 11.

That's the problem, I did not feel anything about his design. When I saw Geras in the select menu when Boon as talking, I first thought it was a placeholder picture lol. He does not have anything unique, he looks like every other cyborg characters in fighting games. Yes he control sand but... That's it ?
Even his fatality looks uninspired, it looks like a MK9 fatality, two punches at the chest and one punch in the back of the head... I mean he controls sand, he can shape everything he wants with it like green lantern does, and he just punches the opponent three times ?

Look at Kotal, the best new character from MKX to me, this is the kind of characters Netherrealm gave us in the last game, and they were pretty much all unique (except maybe Jacqui and Kung Jin). Look at Ferra/Torr, the huge monster with the bloodthirsty little girl that controls him, that's awesome. But here... That's disappointing.
MK has the best characters in all the fighting game industry and Geras looks like a duplicate character from the Tekken Tag Tournament series.

That's the only thing about him I thought was kinda boring, yeah. But his design, his costume and the details on him, they definitely give me an MK vibe.
