Best beginner char theory?

TBH you have to seriously pick the one just feel comfy with. DD isn't bad nor is AM or SM, but me even starting out I just didn't feel comfy with them and I did try, instead I settled on BG, HG, and now Zatanna. The only character I just would not suggest starting out is Zatanna she takes time to really learn and understand.

Don't play DD. Yes, he's easy and you can grab some wins with him but he doesn't really follow conventional matchup techniques; in fact I would throw him in the hawk girl category of odd game play.


If you want someone good and easy who you can win with, stick to Batman, Superman, Aquaman, or Green Lantern. And out of those I'd even say just Aquaman. He's really newbie-friendly and is actually really, really good. You'll learn proper spacing with his superior trident range and you'll also get a taste for the zoning game and power interactibility. Aquaman's trait can be a free "get out of combo" card and all of his hits can convert to combos rather easily. Aquaman's is def the guy you want to mess around with.
