Kenshi or Freddy, they do very well against all of the characters that give Lao trouble (except for Kenshi vs Cyrax but its no worse than Lao vs Cyrax).

sonya goes even with sonya 6-4s cage and cyrax... then again who wants to do mirrors

its true tho, he doesnt, Cage is not in his favor but its not THAT bad, same for kitana, for sonya i think its somewhat even. he doesnt lose to cyrax that badly either. the reason is that kung lao is not possible to completely lock down because he has so many mobility options and he's got his 6 frame spin as well which is the perfect anti-air to boot. kung lao can pretty much be wherever he wants to be so long as he calculates his movements correctly, regardless of moves like anti-air from cyrax.

yea for real, i actually use kung on sonya and cage lol, because let's face it, kung lao's bad matchups are really not that bad, in fact if you adapt they can really seem like 5-5s.
