Are Clashes Killing Hype?

Insuperable

My mom tells me I'm pretty
I don't clash when I play. I think it was a dumb addition to the game. Also, if I'm getting zoned out as Lobo, I don't like clashing and ending up in the exact same situation as before (With less meter now). Clashing is a gamble, but it's also like trying to make a comeback while having someone hold your hand and healing you for 33%.

It would make clashes much more hype if they had even more awesome quotes.

My favorite:

Green Arrow: "Hey Grundy, say 'Fire BAD!'"
Grundy: ".... you not funny!!!!"

I actually think the sudden stop in gameplay adds to the hype and gives both the audience and the players a second to catch their breaths and think about what to adjust/reset space/ speculate etc.

It's a unique to injustice and I think you do the originality of the game a disservice by taking it out.
Pretty much this. I always get hype as fuark when someone Clashes.

The only that kills the hype is the fact that it pushes you full screen. That's so dumb. See revolver vs playin to win for a perfect example.
everyones hyping revolver and i admit his lex was something fresh, but he ate like 9/10 fireballs and put himself into the corner multiple times. he could have beat p2w easily if he didnt make so many fundamental mistakes. it was not the clash which lost him the games.

Yeah, I would like a slightly smaller pushback from a tied clash (optional) and a decent amount taken off from when a clash is won. It's not like a zoner can't use the knock-down to backdash and add distance if he wins a clash, but it makes it less advantageous when he loses, which is how it should be.
