For two meters, I don't even know if it was worth it. :/I'm no Saibot main, but I've had my ass handed to me by a portal set-up.
Here it is:
(Corner) Whatever combo into EX Portal, (opponent jumps) EX Up-Knee. #reset
I was so embarressed when I fell for it.
I think it is, since Saibot's zoning will do some damage too. That reset killed me.
It's a situational gimmick at best, imo. A lot of characters could just armor out of the scenario, or depending on distance simply dash out of the portal and avoid the ex up knee. If you see him throw out a naked portal, Liu could probably just dash up and low fireball to lower his hurt box. Or if you have really good reactions you could probably F1,2 towards him, again depending on distance and when you react.I think it is, since Saibot's zoning will do some damage too.
