loved the old games when was younger and besides the online issues (which are now fixed) they did a really good job with the re-boot imo, great fun to play.

yea alot of good games came out round its release,fact it was near unplayable online 1st month or two didnt help aswell.
adversting for the game was very poor, i only knew the release date cause i was following it since it was teased plus you got twisted metal black free which was awesome, could never find that here so that was a major plus for me.

made a thread on boards aswell but only 1 person replied lol, im too old school for my own good.
maybe when it hits a price drop id suggest to pick it up,online works fine now and the single player is alot of fun

I play Twisted Metal. I started with TM2 on PS1 and I played the hell out of TM Black (PS3) and the Twisted Metal for PSP. I have the PS3 reboot as well which I liked but honestly was disappointed that they didn't do the story mode the way they did it in TM Black (where every character/car had its own beginning, middle and ending story, as opposed to just having 3 stories in the PS3 version). The gameplay in the reboot is solid though, very fun to play through on co-op and whatnot. I hope for future TMs they go back to the format for story mode that they used in TM Black, which IMO was the best game in the series.

TM2 would prob be my fav when playing them when younger,
only got to play TMblack when got the new one, very fun.
not sure when/if there'll be another TM, jaffe doesnt work them anymore since after release of the new one.so it could be a bit messy

If he left twisted metal I fear any new games last time someone handled the twisted metal bands from part 3, part 4 and the childish car game called I think brawl it was a disaster till the black version.
