Anyone in the Ottawa-Gatineau area?

Alright so, what's going on on the hosting thing? Do you guys prefer early Sundays at Al's, or weekdays at mine + Sunday evenings at Al's, or just Sunday evenings at Al's? I know we have students so I figure weekends work best for them, and I'd love to accomodate that. More people coming out means better competition and so on.

Also, I've looked a bit more into PVRs for recording matches and here is a nice one I found: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4146200&CatId=1428 . It's only $200 so it'd require not a whole lot from everyone, and it's external meaning I could bring it to any gather. However it only does composite and I know Al's setup is weird as crap and I don't know what sort of input he uses. I do have an extra composite cable tho so all we'd need to get after is an extra composite-to-composite cable for looping video and we'd have something going on. We'd also have to borrow Al's laptop (I can bring a 500GB external HD for storage) whenever we're at his place but I don't think that's a problem (or is it?). I'm a little short on cash this month but I could make it happen for around holiday season if everything goes like it should.

I thinks this capture card is a great deal. As for my setup, dont worry everything is nice and easy to hook up.
I would pitch in no problem as long as everyone can pitch.

I will be at home till Monday...

So in case anyone would like to come over and play some Matches just let me know ahead of time and I'll probably be home. Any logical time would work for me, cause till Monday I have no driver license, it's like I'm in a house arrest situation, thank your Government of Ontario ....

I wont be able to give out rides, so keep that in mind.

Sorry for the double posting. I will be hosting mortal kombat from 7pm to 11pm. The adress is 66 main ....just go up the stairs in the back , first door on your right. The bar and restaurant is named ``Le Moulin`` .....please come play.

So just a heads up that I'll be out of town for a few days, don't text me for gathers this weekend and such.

On another note, GamingOttawa has decided to include MK in their next tournament which just happens to be BattleRoyale V. You can check out the SRK thread for it here. The full fee for MK including venue fee is $20. I sadly can't make it because I've taken way too many days off lately but it would be great if you guys could show, I'll also post this in the tournament section here so we can try to get some attention!

Edit: Made a tourney thread here with approval from the GO crew. Let's make this shit happen guys!

Okay boys I just remembered that tomorrow, Sunday, I'm watching the Jeff Duhnam Live show in OTTAWA, it's at 5 PM. So I can only host before 3 PM or after 8PM, Sorry about the late notice but I totally forgot about it.

It would be great if you can be here around 11 AM that way maybe Matt can join !

I can do either really, but am gonna push for 11 AM if Matt is indeed down for it. Montrealers?
