Any MKers in Costa Rica?

Just wondering, does anyone know of any UMK3 scene in San Jose, Costa Rica? I'm heading there for a week soon, and just thought it might be fun to hit an arcade and play some folks I wouldn't get to face otherwise. I posted the question on the MKK forums too, so I figured between the 2 sites, if nobody knows, then nobody else does.

Hmmm, I guess that's a, "No." Oh well, no harm in asking. I guess I'll have to wait until next Jan., and try to get down to Colombia. I KNOW there's an MK scene there, lol.

And thanks Tim, I hope too.

And yeah Rocky, I probably would. I almost always do when I play, and I almost always have fun.

Wow, thanks for all the links, rzp, I'll be sure to check them out. By the way, have you guys ever had a, "Latin America," MK tournament? I mean, all the big players from Venezuela, Colombia, Panama, etc. pick one cenral location and get together in person. I don't know how hard that would be, but if you guys are planning to come up to Chicago next year, it shouldn't be much harder than that.

And NinjaGrinder, I'd love to make it to Bogota someday, but I think my trip to Colombia next year is just going to be to Medellin. I'm going to visit some old friends of mine from school, and that's where they live. I can't go to visit them and then say, "Sorry, but I have to go... I need to go to Bogota and play some Mortal Kombat!" :lol:

the Latin America tournament idea has been around for quite a while. I really hope this year or maybe the next one we can gather and have some fun and of course, play umk3 for blood! aajjaajjaa
the colombian game-dedicated websites don't have an english version like mkk does, but feel free to pass by and just say hello if you want :)

Sounds cool, I might try to go if you have it somewhere I'm able to get to. If nothing else, it'd be fun to meet people, do some drinking, and play MK.

the tournament or the meeting itself its going to be maybe in Valencia (Venezuela) or Bogota. we really don't know yet.

there are many peoples that want to make real this tournament but some peoples know that it some hard to do it you know it´s hard to trip to USA or other country from venezuela, cus there are new rules, laws or whatever, and buying dollars is not that easy ^_^

Sure thing... the question is: When? all we need is just peoples that want to put their hearts on this with no payment or something and almost everybody just want money and things like that :(
