An idea for future tournaments

So I just had a spontaneous thought, and it's probably not thought out but I'm going to post it anyway. I found it unfortunate that the "bigger" tournaments are out west such as Devastation and Evo. I am still confident that MK will still get numbers at majors, but there are majors and then there are major majors. To keep the scene thriving as much as we can, why not pick a future tourney (say, in early 2012) to be somewhat of an Evo runback for mk? Like, try to pull in as many participants as possible for a big turnout. More participants = bigger prizepool obviously. If something like this were to happen, we could have a Winter/Spring MK Evo with the only thing separating it being the big stage.

Other regions already have big majors. Season's Beatings, Final Round, ect. will be comparable to Devastation. Due to funds it would be difficult to do a second Evo where virtually everyone goes.

I hear that CEO event last year had over 160 entrants for MK9 and was the biggest turnout for a major .
