Alright Alright!!! BA is good, what do you suggest?

Ok, not going to waste too much time. Apparently the NRS community has agreed Black Adam is dumb as fuck. To which I don't necessarily disagree with, he's ultra good and does insane damage. So, I ask pro's, what do you suggest to make him balanced so there's not 1308294501823541 threads a day whining about Teth. If you scale his damage, I still believe he'll be super good (his tools are good for you newbies.) What reasonable nerfs do you actually call for? Since he's boring to watch and unplayable. ( you don't like to fight against him.)


PS: I'm making this because he's inevitably going to get some kind of nerf. Let's be honest.

I honestly just think he needs a damage nerf, mainly on his f12 string since it seems to do the most damage.
Also trait shouldn't be able to kill, it's so lame seeing Adam's win in tourney after a match has been close the whole set but now he has trait and it's over.
Divekick should only be safe if MB'ed, no matter how low it hits.

Those changes would keep him viable

Other than damage nerfs, honestly MB Divekick should never... ever... ever be plus on block. So plus at times that a F1 jails. You should be taking a risk for dive kick that leads to 400 damage atm. MB should be full combo punishable as well unless executed properly and hits the opponent at their ankles. Palpatine trade combos should not exist. Also he should not have jailing trait cancels.


Edit: Can we plz get rid of whiffing jump normals into dive kick? Plz!

It should be Full Combo punishable, cause its a Launcher.
Every Launcher should be punishable except those you can Delay mb (like Robins db2 )
So if you want that damage with your divekick, you have to take that Risk!
The normal one should be -6

I Am okay with it being safe but negative like Kung Jin's ex dk... no need to be plus. It is way to easy to make it plus at the moment at some ranges.

Way more scaling on his divekicks, as much so that his MB DK combo does around 60-65% of what it does now.

More scaling on his MB lightning cage, as much so that his 1 bar b&b does around 75-80% of what it does now.

Slight damage reduction on his orbs, not too much though.

Removed the possibility to make his MB DK plus on block if spaced correctly, that's just nuts.

Either a decend backdash or a viable wakeup.

f12 fixed so that it's never airborne.

I'm so used to being on the other side of threads like these, someone PM me if I start sounding like Invincible Salads.

- Less HP: from 1050 to 950 or even 850 to don't need to nerf his normals and strings because when you nerf normals and strings, people get very sad and drop the character or even the GAME because they will have to learn again to use the character. So, nerfing the HP is a much better thing.
Percentage-wise, all characters take about the same damage from a combo. Nerfing Black Adam's health to 950 (or 850 which would be insane frankly) would make him objectively worse than any other character in the damage taken department.

You could technically compensate by buffing his defense but then what's the point of the healt nerf.

Make MB divekick less +, not sure how much seeing as the damage nerf would also factor in here.

Make it so trait doesn't close out a match.

This is not MKX, here we have armored safe (or even plus on block) launchers which is really bad cuz there is no risk you just have to spend meter and at worst you are plus on block...

Make his regular damage output range from 17 to 22% meterless and 23 to 26% at max with meter and trait. Would he still be good then? I suppose he'd be fair and balanced, perhaps dropping off the edge of the world, but still usable by the mightiest of dedicated souls. Old MKX Jason (non-Slasher) mains survived on 26% BnBs with little more than armor and command grab mixups at their disposal.

A mb Special that Launch AND is Plus on Block is braindead and dumb.
No Char should have these Option.
Its Another thing to mb a Special, that Launch, to make it safe on Block!
