Fujin!
As some of you may have noticed in the newest Kombat Kast, under the "Move Highlights" on the pause screen is something called Easy Fatalities. I brought this to Test Your Might's attention a few days ago, but people didn't really say much; probably because a lot of people thought Easy Fatalities was just something they use for streams/demo builds, so they don't mess up when trying to showcase a Fatality... BUT!! Judging by some things we've seen and heard, I think I can prove once and for all (maybe) that Easy Fatalities are going to actually be in MKX, and not just for demo builds! You could say this is a "Breakdown" (or just Speculation?) of Easy Fatalities in MKX!
So first of all, according to @Spinky, when he played the game at a convention you could do a Fatality by just standing at a certain distance and pressing 1. I've also heard things about other demo builds allowing you stand at a certain distance and pressing Down, Down, 1 (not sure if that's true, though. I could be mistaking). So if they already had a simple, and easier to do, easy-Fatality inputs in past demo builds, why would they take the time to change it make it where you have to do Easy Fatalities by standing at the distance the fatality requires and holding R2/RT and 1/2? Seems unnecessary, especially if you consider that they added these to the movelist now. Why would they take the time to add in a more complex (not that complex, but still more complex!) Easy Fatality inputs AND put them under the movelist AND add icons for them JUST for a demo build, when past in past demo builds you can do Easy Fatalities easier? And they weren't in the movelist or anything? Like I said, seems unnecessary...
I mentioned something about icons for the Easy Fatalities, and that's actually true. Look at the image above to see what I mean. There are red skull icons beside all of the Easy Fatalities, almost like it's saying it requires something to be done to be used... The picture also shows that the same red skull icon can be seen in the bottom-right corner of the pause menu, above an unknown green icon and Koins. However, the skull seen here has the number 1 beside it. So this lets us know that it isn't an active effect or something, but instead is a currency!
Here's what I think: Easy Fatalities ARE in MKX. They are going to be handled kinda like a currency; you are going to have to use 1 Easy Fatality Token to preform an Easy Fatality. You can have a ton of them, just like Koins. You are going to be able to buy these Tokens from The Krypt, and you can buy them as many times as you want (as long as you have the Koins, of course), similar to how Boosters were handled in Injustice. This will create something that you could always spend Koins on, unlike MK9 where once you unlocked everything, you had nothing to buy and your wallet just kept getting bigger.
That's just what I think, though. What do you think?
