5v5 Teams at MLG Anaheim

Just throwing stuff out there for the possible 5v5s.

1. The person has to be in that region. No bringing in randoms from other regions. Wherever Uncle Sam currently sends your bills to, thats where your reppin.
2. Character locks, SBO style(one type of character per team), best out of 3, Pokemon style.
3. Round Robin so every region gets to play each region. This will determine region rankings.
4. Region that wins is the region that will Rep USA in the 4v4 UK vs USA.
5. $20 buy in for each player on the team. The team with the most wins at the end of the round robin goes away with the $400 pot.

*Round 1: West vs East, Midwest vs South
*Round 2: West vs Midwest, East vs South
*Final Round: West vs South, East vs Midwest

West Coast:

Are any Canada players coming cause they might want to make a team as well. Also, say Cd jr is playing only Kabal like he's saying. Can 2 people use one character or do they have to use different characters?

Since im the only Southeast coast player coming ill take whatever coast will take me and if no one takes me ill OCV all of you :)

Character locks means that you have to use the same character throughout the round robin.
SBO style means that on one team, you can only have one type of that character. So no two kabals on one team.
Best out of 3 means that each individual player will play to first 2 wins.
Pokemon style means that the captain will get to choose who fights next once someone on his team loses.

Detroit has stated that he isn't West Coast.. And if we're going into Technicalities... He isn't. West "Coast" means bordering the ocean..

I really like character lock as that means no kounter picking for the sake of kounter picking.

Character lock is dumb. Our team has three really good Kabals, but we can only have one player use one. Lame.

Character Lock actually means sticking with one character... I don't agree with iKizzle's one character per team rule either.

Detroit can state whatever he wants but he lives in Arizona and that is the West. And if you are gonna come up with technicalities...technically Mid "West" is the west as well, and if we were to combine teams...not many West coast players would be on that team.

And Idk y you guys don't want detroit on your team anyways.....:confused:

SBO style is mainly because every single person on each team already MAIN's a different character.
That in conjunction with character lock makes it so we have 5 different characters per teams, exciting matchups and everyone already using their main character.

So if people really want to counter pick, pokemon style favors that.

I don't completely oppose it. I just feel that maybe other places have two good players that use the same character... So Cal has diversity, it's mainly for the sake of others.
