Strategy 1.06 Trait Management

Having a 12 second cool down mean no more bad activation. What does this mean?

Take the Aquaman mirror.. You get your low scoop blocked and you activate trait. The opponent punishes you with a FTD into 39% combo, guaranteed. Now, as you get up, you have no trait for a longer period of time and cannot escape anything. The correct thing to do would be not trait.. Yes, that means B12~Trident as a punish, but that's only 40% as opposed to the 39% that's already guaranteed.

This goes for any character with single hit launchers. Sometimes you are going to train yourself not to activate your trait and give the opponent the chance to take a little more damage. Losing 40% but keeping trait is better than losing 46% and losing trait.

This was still the case a lot of times before the patch even, but it is even more important now. Overall, Aquaman did very very well in this patch, just rewuires a little bit smarter play. Good post.
