hitbox controller

Have had mine for about a month and love it, but my question for hitbox users in MK11: Do you still rock input shortcuts on or turn them off? I currently run Medium/Shortcuts: ON. I've tried playing with it off but even then sometimes my inputs would be read as diagonal and it is quite annoying...
