This is true but the zoning isn't oppressive and not the main issue here. I posted a reply in the raiden MU thread that hopefully makes it clear why I think Frost wins.

Have you seen seen some of the moves? They're not balanced at all. Some are really good, some are just trash. Some of the variations we have now aren't good simply cause the moves aren't worth having on their own or the other variation just does a better job. There's work that needs to be done...

Because you can zone without gaining gaining a lot of space because you're opponent blocked twice. Making your opponent block twice and pause their movement is the whole reason you started zoning.

You can't reasonably react to frost D4. D4 reach is only matched by F1, F2, and F4. The first two are high and the mid is too slow. Further out B22 reaches you, and you can't counter poke properly spaced B2 and B22. Further out F2 is the only button she can press. Sure you can duck but now...

Like any other jacqui match. She's constantly pressing buttons for free. But at least I have a 4f reversal to buffer during her shenanigans. Can punish dash punch, B22, and B22 shrapnel blast. Also Raiden has actual mixups which I believe is the way to fighter her unless you can really keep her out.

This Pretty much sums up how I feel. Just got to wait for NRS to start steering the ship. Right now we're all just trying things out and figuring out how the game will play like. Then they'll start patching things and we'll be able to better refine how the game plays.
