* Liu fast bicycle effect reverted to red (PSX MKT style) from shadow (N64 MKT style).
* Added Goro's Lair arena from MK2. Also added MKT story to game demo. For get some space i have cut "ULTIMATE MK3 DESIGN TEAM" screen from the game credits. This screen is not relative to gameplay and costs a plenty of space, like half of arena. Vs code for goro's lair is: 222-222. I didn't import original soundtrack for the arena because it had not done in MKT.

Very nice work.

In the next version of MamePPK, hopefully we can give you enough space so you don't have to "cut" anything. @Agahnim might work with me on that.

All known errors with combometer were fixed. Any hits are registered in combo with correct percentage now. Combometer core has been changed. Vanilla baviour is cut off fractional value and show only integer part of combo percentage. New behaviour is round to closest integer - it is more precisely. E.g., old behaviour is show 39% if there is 39.9% and new is show 40% if there 39.9%.

Hardware compatibility mode.
When rom was started it was not intended to run on hardware. But you can enable hardware compatibility in test menu now. Game isn’t going to infinite loops, e.g. infinite galaxian; you can’t change wins counters behavior from default; coin can’t be used for switching turbo; freeplay is always on.

Jade has been rebalanced for the modern profile
* All restrictions has been removed from her shadow kick.
* DP has been removed from the middle of her standard 7-hit combo; damage increased from 25% to 35%/
* The new combo has been added: HK, HK, LK, HP, HP, D+LP, D+HP. You can insert after combo unblockable sweep for 42% damage.

* Total black Noob skin was banned because he was hardly visible on new "The Star Bridge" arena.
* You will see instant hints for every option in "Shao Kahn hidden treasures" screen.
* You may use buttons "left" and "right" for quicker movement in select zone menu.

Incredible stuff man, I finally got around to downloading this and doing the patches. Never expected the in-game UI for some of these changes to look as good as it does, wow! Thanks for such an amazing contribution to the community!

* Kano has a new black palette (number 3, choose with RUN+BLOCK).
* Shang can morph to Human Smoke (BL, RUN, LK) and Robot Smoke (B, B, D, LK) in all profiles except Classic and UC Tournament. It won't be added to default profile since it has to be unchanged.

Modern profile only:
Shang Tsung have been rebalanced.
* Back morphing timer was increased in one and a half times
* You won't be morphed back if you too close to opponent.
On video Shang go out from close range where he can't be morphed back.

Wondering if is any way to make it run in a raspberry pi? I got it working in my PC and the Mortal Kombat 2 Plus working in the Raspberry pi, but not luck with your rom.

Also about the sprites you used for Noob Saibot portrait and Brutality word. I have sprites with higher quality. Also is possible change sprites in characters? Like Idle animation sprites? will be cool give a different stand idle pose to some ninjas like classic subzero.

Thanks for the help KOHR, It worked in the Pi! Some minimum emulation bugs cause the old mame version but nothing can't be fix with a newest version of the emulator.

How is the frame rate? What emu did you use? I have a rpi3
 
Tested it in Retropie 4.4, in lr-mame2003 with the rom name of umk3.zip
The lr-mame2003 is a very old version of Mame, and is much more light that newest versions.
The umk3 have some minimum emulation problems cause for the old version of Mame. (Select Screen and some times in Choose your Destiny Screen)

Overclocking the Pi3b+ and set the resolution a bit small i got no stable 30fps. some times the sound get laggy.
Didn't works in Lakka but will try again.

1) An autopatcher script has been written. All you need for get rom - unpack JH or vanilla bins into script dir and run the script. You can get MAME which may recognize latest rom as well with autopatcher.
2) Two new arenas were added: The Pit and Pit Bottom.
3) "Choose Your Destity" screen was stylized like MKT
4) Sheeva ducking and blocking reaction on any hit was fixed for modern profile: she doesn't stands up after hits.
5) When you jump over ducking Sonya, she had one broken frame for her animation. Fixed.
6) New palettes were added: Jax - red (like MK2 Jax) [BL+RUN], Nightwolf - green (like Mexico flag) [BL+RUN], Kabal - yellow [BL+RUN], Kabal - charcoal [LK+HK], Sheeva - yellow [BL+RUN], Sheeva - green [LK+HK]
7) I have to cut some things off for get space. New "Choose Your Destiny" screen is much smaller than old, thats why it must be done. Also "the pit 3" stage fatality graphics was slightly downgraded, animation frames were decreased.

If someone had had code signing certificate and helped me with executable signing i would make an auto updater for all community.

Mortal Kombat Trilogy balance profile has been finished. All missed moves were added.

2 new palettes were added for Liu Kang: black (3rd palette) and blue (4th palette).

Only modern balance profile: Kano was rebalanced.
1) Instead of random cannonball special move from MKT profile he has homing cannonball - it can track opponent character and never misses.
2) Punishing sweeps restricton was removed from his regular cannonball. Added second input for this move - F, F, LK.
