I wish the OP would ask for this to get closed. -_-

I want to close it simply based off of the fact that it's veered so far off track that it's unbelievable. But I'm kinda hoping it will MAYBE get back on track. *hint* *hint*

This is actually the sheer joy of the Off-Topic forums, and a particular trait that's always been part of what made these discussions fun.

That a discussion about net neutrality can end up navigating the finer points of Star Trek politics is something that can only happen here :)

(P.S. If you think this is off-topic, you should have seen the days of Tim Static-led spiderman gif takeovers).

We're all from Earthrealm. If not, cool pic brah.
yeah closing a thread because you don't like what people are talking about is pretty bad. This is the off topic forum so nobody is forced to read it, if someone's breaking rules moderate that otherwise let it go. And this is from someone who thinks the statements and discussion started by knicks is incredibly stupid, as you can probably tell from my posts in here

Where did I say I didn't like the thread? I just said it veered off from what it was intended for.

But as Crimson said, it's in the off-topic section, so I guess anything goes here. *shrug*

Scumbags repealed it. Now its up to court cases to halt it. And hopefully a legislative fix but very doubtful Republicans will help with a fix.

Most vulnerable is Netflix. Comcast directly competes with Netflix and has every incentive to throttle, which they did before only then it was illegal and they got caught.

Its repulsive that this happened.

If courts don't halt it, then good luck in the Orwell era. Whoever knows what do I mean knows.
