Adam is fine damn, to quote Rico Suave "he's straight forward, simple he has not set ups or mix ups etc"

Yeah he has big damage and is easy to use but he's not OP, other crazy rushdown set up heavy chars are gonna dominate in a few months.

This is why early nerfing doesn't work, as soon as the char they cry most about gets nerfed scrubs^ will find another one to witch hunt and cry about. It's a never ending story. Quite sad actually. Just git gud scrubs.

He's top for sure but since he has weaknesses as most do, he's not OP. don't get me wrong he's one of the scrubbiest chars in the game... anyone with half a brain can do damage with him haha.

If Adam has no set and mix up , Rico Suave should learn what the term ''Cross Up'' means and that Adam has a ''lightning bomb'' or whatever the move is that has nothing to do with set up right?
I mean ... listening to a ''guy'' no matter how popular he is on the 1st week after a game comes out is a little bit ''pleb level of stupidity''.
Same goes for the stuff Fox does and people don't punish him and ofc his Deadshot wall combos that ~3/4 of them are dropped or not optimal.

Who Rico is doesn't matter , it matters that Cross Ups are ''Mix Ups'' and Adam's Lightning Bomb is a ''Set Up''.
These are facts and the above pseudo celebrity mentioning the opposite cannot change that.

Let's see.

First he has a staggerable string with one of the longest reaching footsie tools in the game that leads to big boy damage.

He has a low projectile that mb has the same pushback as Deadshot's mb low shots

Activation of trait (unclashable, unblockable damage) can make ALL of his normals and strings safe...including up to +15 with guaranteed damage.

A fast, fullscreen, overhead divekick when mb'd is safe and leads to ANOTHER divekick on hit into HEAVY AF damage.

A mid zoning tool that trades well in black magic


But yeah, because Rico says his main is fine...must be fine *rolls eyes so hard it rips apart the fabric of time and space*

He never said he was fine lol, learn to read.
the char is obviously top just too early to call him OP and witch hunt him for nerfs.

I will go ahead and say Rico is WRONG about setups. Just because he or anyone else has not seen them, doesn't mean they dont exist.

A few "known" players here have fallen victim to hard-to-blockable setups I've done on them. Backdashing and forward dashing trying to dodge the bomb only puts you right into the mix.

Quit regurgitating what others have said about Black Adam not having "setups"

He's not a set up heavy char, ofc you could find some but they're not as strong as others.

Everyone lists his pros but not his cons.

Let's see...
Short Ranged slow backdash.
Average walk speed.
Average reversal/wake up attack(24frames of start up)
no OH/Low 50/50s.
Average AAs.

So yeah he's good just not unbeatable.

Had you actually read the entire thread before finding one post you didn't like and venting out your frustration, you would have seen I said I don't think they're overpowered; that's my salt speaking for me because they give me the most problems.

Honeybee forced sonic to switch to black adam after he lost using deadshot against the flash which is a character that suffers against zoning. Honeybee and Biohazard got first and second at toryuken using Flash and Bane which are characters that are weak against zoning I think there was one deadshot in top 8 and got 7th maybe. Lets give it a little time before we consider deadshot busted some people are getting around him.
