No More Asthetic Damage?

JLU51306

Bzzzt *Paging Doctor Fate*
This is something I've always liked in my fighters, but I've yet to see it in Injustice 2. Albeit, the visual damage to fighters in Inj 1 was sort of absurd (fleshed being removed with the absence of blood), but something along the lines of bruises, scrapes, costumes tearing done subtlely looks great, I think. Do you want to see it return?

I'll be surprised if they do add it in this game considering the magnanimous amounts of customizable gear. They'd have to design aesthetic damage for every single piece of armor. Otherwise, there's no point.

They could very well just have it effect base models though. So we could possibly see it in competitive mode by release.

I've played with Supergirl a few times and her suit's looked pretty grimy by the end. Dunno if it's just her or what. Either way less battle damage is a good thing IMO, because it looked comically bad in MK9 and Injustice. Characters looked like they'd had a bite taken out of them like a damn apple.

It was fine in MKX because it was minimal in comparison.

The characters are visibly dirty at the end of a match, but not actually bloodied and damaged like previous NRS games.

Too old for this
I'm personally very good without the damage. It looked silly in MK9 and Injustice, and while the scratches and bruises were better in MXK every character in MKX look like they've gotten a skin disease which bubbles their skin after every match.

Oh yeah I forgot about the sweat. That did look weird.

It was hella ugly in MK9 and Injustice.

It was alright in X because they dialed it down so much.

I like my characters to look cool in their dumbass action poses, not like they feel into a wood chipper.
The only thing I thought was silly was the sweat in MKX. THOSE SWEATY FINGERNAILS, LOL

Where the hell is Reiko's wheel kick
winners should be left with half the flesh they started fighting with MK9 style, or else what were they doing

(like hell they'll dare to even put a bruise on childhood characters)

I WILL EAT THIS GAME
I can do without it.

In MK9, when Cyrax's MK3 skin took facial damage, he looked like an unhatched chicken stuck in an egg.
Sort of killed my boner for it.

I've only had a beta code for a few days now but I noticed that SG looks like a hobo by the end of the match.
