Edit: Disclaimer, I haven't payed attention to any patch hints so if they've already said they are nerfing Quan that's a bit different.

Quan is not the only one nerfed. Mileena's nerfed, too. Both have their own share of nerfs. So they're good to go.

If the non loyalist would pick a character based on playstyle then it would make sense, but Kevo picks based on tiers.

Besides, part of Dink's "accusation" was that, by jumping to tier to tier, Kevo never developed his fondamentals, and Kevo of course disagreed. He wants to prove he is the better player? He wants to prove that he has fondamentals and is not carried by his character? Then play on an even field. Simple as that.

Again, it's too easy to claim to be the faster pilot while driving a Ferrari.

In my opinion the one who talked shit first should also be the one to adapt to the other's request in a situation like this.

Besides, Dink even proposed to go right then and there against Mileena, witch was already in a disadvantage. Kevo refused even that, witch I don't understand why.

This thread needs to be close dink is mad he had no placements in this game not to my knowledge and is not even a quan that even comes to my mind I have nothing to prove to someone that can't even get a game on me in this game lol this is the same guy who lost to a random Erron Black player at If I'm not mistaken SCR and went in the restroom crying the only thing I care about is winning if he wanna play at CB if this game is relevant then we can play for $250 he can play who he want and I play who I want if I have no fundamentals clearly I wouldn't have beaten some of the best players in the world and not even talking about with Milenna name one player dink has beaten in tournament settings I'll wait ...

Dink is allowed to use whatever he wants. Dink is not sponsored, Dink is not a threat to win NEC and other majors.

Why would Kevo practice a character that he may not use, to face Dink IN MAY AFTER THE GAME MIGHT BE DEAD, when he's got upcoming majors where his best chance is using top tier?

This is why top players don't post on TYM. Beta male mindsets. Oh my god top tier *cries*. Yeah, easy to say when you're sitting at home, not pressured to beat players like Sonic, Scar, Dragon, who use top tiers as well.

If everyone on TYM put themselves in Kevo's shoes, this would be a tomato throwing festival at Dink. Kevo vs Dink under normal tournament rules is not interesting, so lets shake things up. Not for me to say, but he's willing to put 250$ on the line and bring the hype so who gives a shit? (To be clear, if this were to happen if want it in 2016)

I hope Kevo and Dink can come to terms in some way, because I really enjoy watching them both play, and there has already been some super juicy shit in this thread.

Let's make this happen doods! Btw, what's up with Kevo attracting all this hate? Last Sunday I saw @Destroy_Scvm drop the most gnarly tea bags on that Mileena. It was so awesome. Kevo seems like a nice dude though, people just hate tier whoring that much I guess??

I honestly don't see the point of this thread. Kevo said that he picks whoever he wants and Dink picks whoever he wants. If that isn't fair then tournament rules aren't either. On another note if you get offended by Kevos trash talk then your just being sensitive.

Honestly imo, i think that if dink wants to play kevo, he should. But he shouldn't be adding any of these conditions, if dink really feels like he is better than kevo than he should just play him with no bullshit.

If Dink thinks he's better, it shouldn't matter who Kevo picks. They should just play and resolve it.

well I have to be honest, rewatching the video, even though you started being completely aggressive first at 3:56:45, Dink did say some passive aggressive shit even before that.

you ain't completely in the wrong man, I gotta be honest. you should still use them commas though.

my point about beating him on an even field still makes sense though, I agree with @Tweedy that it would be inconvenient for a sponsored player, but that's how you prove that you are not getting carried by top tiers.

What does his grammar, slang or punctuation have to do with anything in this thread? Some of you people man... Anyway, i dont like the rule. Dink pick who you want, Kevo pick who you want and play.

Its much easier for a character loyalist to adapt to changes than someone who jumps characters, i would know since i main liu kang. If a top player (eg scar, foxy dragon etc) calls someone trash would you then tell them to use a random character against your main? Because lets face it, every top player mains a top tier. That rule sounds silly man. Just play under standard rules.
