Makes me want one. I hate iADM coming out late Hit Box -- you all going to have a demo booth setup at any upcoming tournaments?

We won't have a booth at EVO, but there will be tons of Hit Boxes in the room. If you track me down we can hijack a setup and let you try it out. We're also working on Injustice vids too, which sounds much more convenient for you. :p

If I had a hitbox going into ECT5 I would have won the tournament I think
Cyborg block infinite without messing it up, would have looked hilarious as a grand finals

Needless to say I love it

Hit Box do you guys allow people to buy the chips you use to interface with the console so that they can make their own hit box?

I'm a converted pad player. My girl got me a hitbox and I never looked back. Only complaint is 360/ps3 one doesn't have a mic input and its damn near impossible to take it apart.

Yeah no Mic input I noticed that

Would there be a way to design a hotbox with a normal layout but with a secondary UP button above down? So you could have the 'spacebar' button for shortcuts and stuff and the regular up above down so my brain doesn't explode sometimes

Or can you not map two buttons to the same directional

The up button thing was difficult for me as well. I ended up just using the hitbox for about everything from sidescrollers to platformers until I got past that. Now I find it pretty great makes Injustice feel like a platformer where I just have to push a jump button to dodge fireballs.

If you want to build your own, all you need is a Cthullu board. If you want some of the things that make the HitBox unique (like the UP button priority), I think you can update the firmware online. I'm a little new to the modding thing myself so forgive me if my info isn't entirely accurate.

I got my HitBox about a year ago (thanks again guys and sorry about the confusion) for MK and I re-boxed my Qanba Q4 because of it. My personal opinion is that if you're playing MK or Injustice without one, you're a moron. Catwoman's D1xx Cat Claws is soo frikin easy on it that it's almost sinful :eek:

Quick question, you guys are coming to EVO right? Any chance you'll be bringing parts? I know you won't have a booth, but I would love it if I could get at least a clear plexi off of you when I'm there.

Yes, I'll be at EVO playing Injustice and MK. Looking forward to meeting you guys :D

My brother made both of our hitboxes. I know how to build 'em :)

I play on Hitbox but live in the UK so I wont be hitting up Evo. I'm not amazing but I win a fair amount of games at my local scenes. I play batgirl, gl and supes on the hitbox, with two of my friends also using it for scorp and aquaman. Might try and grab some footage.

Hit Box

I've been using mine for a few weeks. Hoping to attend EVO with it -I won't know if i can attend until tomorrow night. Fortunately registration doesn't close until Sunday night. Will Hitbox be @ EVO?

Hitbox = my favorite controller/gaming accessory I've ever used. As a PC player who never touched fighting games or competitive console gaming until Injustice, it is perfect.

Any competitive or diehard pc player switching over to fighting games should get a Hitbox. Its a must and it saves a lot of time since it will feel very natural.

Do any hitbox users run into the problem of how to use a mic on xbl while playing with a hitbox?

bought a shit xbox mic in gamestop only to find out that you can't use a controller assigned to p2's mic port while playing as p1 online.

Bought a 50$ tritton usb headset only to find out you still need to use the 2.5mm adapter on it to get the mic to work.

Only disappointment about the Hitbox yet - this is an extreme chore and im pretty sure the only headsets you can use while playing on hitbox are past the $100 pricemark.

There are two options for a mic

The wireless ones Microsoft makes

Or you can drill into the side of the hitbox the Ps360+ boards (i don't know about the other pcbs) do have a mic input its seriously just that there's no hole in the box take the backing off to see where to drill and detach the board so you don't accidentally hurt it

I know the hole isn't pretty but id rather use my razer headset than buy another one And with the awesome plexi on the front the hitbox team printed for me i doubt anyone notices it

doesn't the wireless one still have a thing you have to plug into 2.5mm? if you dont mind can you please link me this wireless headset? <3
