Console freezing patch 1.05

MACHKAAAAA!!!!!
Whenever a player leaves or is disconnected from a KOTH or a Survivor lobby, my Xbox locks up.

Has happened 3 times now; once in Survivor, twice in KOTH.

Game is not installed...I have found that installing this game gives your console a 50/50 chance of freezing on each boot; not an exaggeration.

Don't own a PS3 so I can't comment.

Let us compile all reasons and complaints regarding version 1.05 crashes/hang-ups here.

I noticed that during 1-player single match (Nightwing vs. Zod), my PS3 was slowing down, akin to real bad lag. I'm hoping it's a 1.05 issue, and not a "I'm going to fucking die on you" issue.

Clearing the cache is a temporary fix and is not a solution to the actual problems. I, and many others, have already cleared the cache multiple times. While it will help for a couple boots it does not solve the issue and shouldn't be glossed over as, "Well it's just part of the process". Consistently performing these hard-shutdowns on you machine is not good for the life of your console.

When your system freezes, you're basically doing the same thing you do when your computer does. The more you do it, the greater the chance of hardware malfunction. The same reason why PSone advised not to push the reset button frequently; it can and eventually will result in hardware/software malfunctions.

Clearing the cahce fixed it for most people that have had that problem, and they usually don't have to do it again, until the next patch comes and breaks everything again. It has something to do with bad data and there hotfix system.

Sounds like your problem is more severe if it keeps happening.

I also haven't seen anyone else with the installation freezing problem.
