Welcome everyone. The purpose of this tournament is for all the heavy hitter tag players to show your stuff. There can be only one winner and to said winner they will be awarded 1600 Microsoft Points. In addition, for now, there won't be a stream unless my Capture Card comes in beforehand or I find someone to stream. As for now the CAP will be set to 32. If more people want to join in on the fun, please let me know and I will raise the CAP
I ask all who are attending to join the room named "TAGATHLON." Please be in the room by 6pm EST to help prevent the "where is my opponent question."
The tournament will take place Saturday July 27, at 6pm EST.
The rules are as follows:
All characters are allowed
All tag resets are allowed (including Scorpion's tag assist)
The stage must be Courtyard (night or day) and only Kombat Kodes that don't affect gameplay (no blood, klassic music, rainbow Kombat, etc)
Matches will be tournament style FIRST TO 2, DOUBLE ELIMINATION
Loser's, Winner's and Grand Final's will all be FIRST TO 3
You may NOT have a tag partner (same console) this is forbidden due to confusion of whom gets awarded points.
The purpose of this is for friendly competition and to allow tag players to take pride in their violent beatdowns among the world of MK.
Rules for "No Show' players and players who are "Too Laggy," "Lag Out," or "Can't Connect"
You are DISQUALIFIED 10 minutes after your match starts.
If you "lag out" 3 times in a row the match will be set to a First to 1 and if there is another "lag out" the player with the most health will take the Win (in this case you must inform me of said issue and I will make a KOTH to view the match)
All players attending must be present before 6:10pm EST or you will be DISQUALIFIED (NO EXCEPTIONS)
