Question How do i battle someone that stays in the air half the match and just spams her freaking twirl

Every time i fight her i always lose and i'm tired of losing to the worst character in DC(don't care what you say she is systematically the worst one to be created[a chicken with wings that can fly]) is there any characters that counter her or is there any way my 3 characters(Batman, Killer Frost, and Solomon Grundy) can deal with her or should i just learn Senestro? to deal with her i need help if you can please thank you

Learn Deathstroke. Whenever she jumps, jump up and shoot her. Learn sword flip and j3 too and voila, you can beat Hawkgirl

I don't, they clearly state Hawkgirl lol. This is like he first non Scorpion post in the past week.

Also, you can use Batman against her. Just use a Bat and jump then release it when she jumps up. If it knocks her out of the air then run up and pressure when she's on the ground. Rinse and repeat

Dash under her, get ready to block the down foot, and punish. Use trait as batman to knock her out of the air. Use your air grapple. Dash under and jump 1 or jump 2 with any of those chars. HG is beatable, just got to play very patient.

Everyone else is safe on so many of their options....why can't she be safe too? lol.

The only thing I think would be reasonable to make less safe is her mace charge, but even that is not necessary when there are characters that get way more off their safe specials like Killer Frost for example.

You can jumpback her mace-charge for full punish with BA. That much I know. I have a feeling that ALL of Black Adams horrible matchups can and will be good matchup for General Zod. Deadly Alliance? I think so

You can jump back or MB back 3 with the entire cast to get a full combo on mace charge.

So far Hawkgirl is 1/3...she beats one of the DLC characters and gets hell from Batgirl. Scorpion seems questionable.


Zod might be a problem, but we need to ply it out. Also, I really do not buy Black Adam losing to Hawkgirl...it's probably 5-5 or in his favor.

thank you i'm not so good with batman's anti air routines but i'll go into practice mode and learn how too

Nope. Cuz Zod is going to be a big problem for Hawkgirl, so since I main BA and soon with main Zod, I will use Zod to beat the hard matches BA has. I can't wait

Scorpion problem will be solved at CEO, if PL sandbags it so he can keep scorp for EVO, then hopefully REO can destroy everything with his Scorp at EVO and prove to everyone that he is truly broke.

Oh I wasn't saying BA loses to HG, its just a tough 5-5, but for Zod it should hopefully be a 6-4, So i'll use Zod to win against BA's 5-5's, especially Green Lantern -_-

yea but that is gonna ruin the reputation of the game and make other people not want to play competitively if they have to wait for a character that shouldn't be in the game in the first place where there is much better options(Static Shock) to beat everyone in one of the best tournaments that it should be an honor of such because with in the first couple of months of release this game is already accepted but i honestly can't except hat i'm going to evo[friend invited me get to go for free yea lol] i don't want to see a teleport every 2 seconds win the dang tournament
