Don't have the compatibility pack?

I just want to let everyone know that those who choose not to download the compatibility pack (under Extras - Downloadable Content) are causing the people who paid for the DLC to not be able to use their product online. If 1 person out of 7 people in a KOTH doesn't have the compatibility pack, the 7 other people who do will not be able to play Skarlet until that person leaves.

NRS' decision to not make the compatibility pack a mandatory download is something I won't pretend to understand (let's call it... oversight... yeah...), but in the meantime, for the sake of the children, let this be a friendly reminder for everyone to get your free skins and Skarlet compatibility ASAP.

Well if NRS was to make the compatbilty pack a mandatory thing it would have to been done as a patch and thus cost them the Q&A fee everytime they release a new charecter it can get costly/

I wasn't planning on spending any money on Skarlet and I've grown to hate online play, but I probably will want Rain. Guess I'll be running into the same issues down the road. Hell, I didn't even bother buying the 'klassic' pack after so many reports of not being able to even use the costumes online. Guess this means I won't be using Sektor's retro online too.

It bullshit that we give NRS our hard earned money for DLC characters, and we can't even use them online most of the time because the compatibility pack wasn't mandatory...

NRS dropped the ball on this one. It does not make any sense at all to not make it a mandatory patch. They have failed on every aspect of online play since this game has released.
